These standards apply to everything Success Stall publishes. They exist so readers can judge our work for themselves.
Accuracy and sourcing
- We prioritise primary sources: official statements and data, central-bank and statistics-office releases, court and parliamentary records, scientific papers, and announcements from the organisations involved.
- Major claims are corroborated with at least one reputable independent outlet. Where sources disagree, we say so and explain which figure we used and why.
- Every article ends with a Sources list linking the material we relied on. Figures attributed to a single source are credited to that source in the text.
- If we cannot verify something, we leave it out.
Quotes and attribution
We never invent or alter quotes. We quote people only when we have seen their exact words in a primary source or in reputable reporting, and we link where the quote comes from. We do not copy other publications’ reporting; articles are written in our own words and credit the outlets whose work we cite.
Dates and timeliness
Each article shows its publication date and, where different, the event date — when the event actually happened. We do not present older developments as breaking news, and we show an “Updated” date when an article is materially revised.
News and analysis
News articles report what happened and what the sources say. Interpretation and context are clearly labelled: whole pieces of interpretation carry an Analysis label, and analysis sections within news articles are headed as such.
Who writes our articles
Our articles carry the byline Success Stall Desk. They are desk-written from the sources linked in each piece — we do not claim on-the-ground reporting and do not attribute work to journalists who do not exist. Articles are researched and drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against their sources before publication. We remain fully responsible for everything we publish.
Images
We use images that are freely licensed (for example Creative Commons or public domain), supplied for publication, or created by us. Every image is credited in its caption with its author and licence. Images are illustrative unless the caption says otherwise.
Independence
Advertising pays for Success Stall, but advertisers do not influence our coverage. We do not accept payment for articles, and ads are labelled “Advertisement” so they are distinct from editorial content. See our Advertising Disclosure.
Fairness
We aim to represent the positions of the people and institutions we cover accurately, and to cover developments from many regions rather than one country’s perspective.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Read our Corrections Policy or contact us to report an error.
